May 8, 2015
After preparing for our Autism Awareness Festival for many months, I cannot believe that it is over for 2015!  Even with a rain delay, we had a great turn-out and some incredible stories and experiences shared. Thank you to all of the sponsors, vendors, volunteers, prayer partners, and attendees for making this year one to remember!  Click here to view the photo gallery, capturing so many memories!

We held our final Parents' Night Out for the 2014-2015 school year last Friday, May 1st, and both the kids and the volunteers had a great time, as usual!  A special thanks to the Biers family who provided dinner for all 37 volunteers who came to Dayspring Church to help us!  We are so excited to have had several new families join Parents' Night Out this year, and are looking forward to meeting even more next year!

Though the festival and May Parents' Night Out have passed, we still have more coming up on our calendar!  We are hosting a Benefit Concert for all ages on Saturday, June 6th in McDonough, featuring Michael Lee Stancil and Zach & Rodney!  We are so excited for the concert, and hope to see you all there! Thank You Volunteers!

Anchor of Hope Foundation is blessed with incredible volunteers who have such hearts for the children and families we serve. Between the Autism Awareness Festival and our final Parents' Night Out for the school year, our volunteers worked tirelessly to make each event a success.

On behalf of all of us at Anchor of Hope Foundation, we extend our heartfelt thanks to all of our amazing, dedicated volunteers! Without your service, hard work, and dedication to our ministry, we could not serve those in our community in need. Thank you for all you do!
What's Else is New?
Scholarship Update 2015

Our goal for this year is to award 75 scholarships to help children receive therapy, equipment, and educational opportunities that are not covered by insurance. As we are approaching the halfway mark of 2015, we are also approaching the halfway mark for our scholarship goal with 23 scholarships awarded!

The volume of applications increases at the beginning of the summer--for assistance with summer camps and resources--and at the beginning of the school year, for assistance with tuition and therapy. By becoming a Friend of Hope, you can give a family the gift of a "yes." Your monthly support of $25 can give a child 10 sessions of speech therapy, a summer of gymnastics lessons, or provide them a wheelchair so they can move themselves independently. Partner with us.

THANK YOU, SPONSORS!

Our sponsors went above and beyond this year supporting our 6th Annual Autism Awareness Festival!  We are thankful to all who partnered with us, but would like to extend a special thank you to our Anchors Aweigh Sponsors, who include:

Personally, I would like to say "Thank you!" to everyone who has made my transition to Executive Director smooth and exciting!  I would especially like to thank the two amazing women I work with in the Anchor of Hope Office, Juli and Lindsey, who have led me through this busy time and crazy transition with grace and encouragement.

With the Autism Awareness Festival and May Parents' Night Out etched into my memory book, I look forward to the next year of growth with anticipation and excitement.  Blessings to all of you, and thank you for your continued partnership with Anchor of Hope!

With kind regards,

Katie Magee
