Grounds Improvement Day

Growing Greener Grass

Join us this Saturday, July 11, 9:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m., we will be removing the mud pit and re-seeding the grass. We are looking for two Thrivent Action Team cards and/or donations to help with the project on Saturday, July 11. Thrivent Action Team Cards would need to be applied for by June 17, as they take about three weeks to process.  If you have any connections on Bobcat and rototiller rentals, we could use your help! We need a team of at least 24 volunteers to help this grow quickly! High school students and Boy Scouts needing volunteer hours are especially encouraged to contact Samantha Sternemann.

Family Promise Training

Train, Serve and Be Blessed

CTK is holding a Family Promise Training on Sunday, August 9, from 11:00 a.m.-1:00 p.m. We are in need of more volunteers to continue to provide this wonderful program at our church. The training is required to spend time with the families.

Please consider volunteering during our next host week which is August 9-16. We are going to try scheduling 2 shifts per day this time to see if it makes it easier for our volunteers. We will have a volunteer bring a meal, and then have a 5:00-8:00 p.m. shift and an 8:00 p.m.-morning shift. It really is such a rewarding feeling knowing we are helping families less fortunate than us get on their feet. Please look for the next signup genius to be coming out soon and another training session if you haven't already had the training!
