The pace of our work lives often slows down a bit in the summer as we take time off to vacation or pause projects while others take a break. Here at Gates Healthcare, the summer has given us the opportunity to sharpen our focus and enhance our services to best serve our clients.
The month of August capped a bustling period during which we launched a new division,
Independent Healthcare Monitors (see our webinar to the left), and established a service focused on due diligence for pharmacy transactions.
Given these innovations as well as recent key additions to our team of associates, we took matters a step further by re-imagining our brand. This week we have launched a completely redesigned logo and website (see below), sharpening our focus on three overarching areas of expertise: Compounding, DEA, and Hospitals. We also fined-tuned our mission statement as the following:

Partnership with Healthcare Innovator

Gates Healthcare Associates has formed a collaborative partnership with TherapeuticsMD, Inc., an innovative women's healthcare company based in Boca Raton, Fla.
TherapeuticsMD, which also recently became a corporate member of the International Academy of Compounding Pharmacists (IACP), is forging alliances with the industry as it continues to develop advanced hormone replacement therapies.
"Our goal is to develop a clear and mutually beneficial partnership with these compounding pharmacies," Robert Finizio, CEO of TherapeuticsMD, said during an investor conference call earlier this month. "We have contracted with [Gates Healthcare,] a pioneer in the area of pharmaceutical compounding and distribution to design and implement this strategy."

Drug Topics magazine features an article by Ernie Gates, president of Gates Healthcare Associates, in its latest edition.
 Drawing on the lessons of our nation's founding pharmacists, the piece focuses on the higher standards that are required of compounding pharmacies as new regulations continue to be implemented in the wake of the New England Compounding Center tragedy.
"We recall our profession's history not simply out of curiosity, but for the lesson it imparts: To succeed in the 21st century, compounding pharmacies must commit themselves to the highest standards of quality and excellence," Gates writes.
