Weekly News Update
Campus Safety Reminder

In order to maintain the security of the school, all visitors and students who are coming and going from campus must first report to the front office before proceeding to any other point on campus. Please remind your students that they should not open the Prep building doors for anyone trying to enter from outside the school.

  • Visitors must sign-in and wear a badge at all times while on campus. Any visitors without a badge will be escorted to the front office.
  • Parents wishing to drop off items for their students should come directly to the front office. The items will then be distributed to students during appropriate times of day.
  • Students must enter and exit campus via the front office between the hours of 8:20 a.m. to 3:20 p.m. They will be required to sign-in/out and may need to obtain a pass to be admitted to class.

Coffee Conversations are on hiatus for Spring Break. They will resume on March 25 when Mr. Wagner will meet with the parents of 9th grade students.  Check the website to find out when your section is scheduled.  Coffee Schedule

  Uniform Shorts: March 1
Due to unseasonably warm weather this year, students will be allowed to wear their uniform shorts beginning on March 1st. This is a change to the school handbook, which previously allowed shorts after Spring Break.
Junior Drama Performance

Come watch sections 11B and 11C perform two of Sophocles' timeless Greek tragedies. "Oedipus the King" will be performed at 6:00 p.m. on Wednesday, March 4th and will be followed by a production of "Antigone" at 7:15. The two performances will be separated by a half hour of refreshments and social time!

Epic Poetry Night
Please join us as teachers and students perform a dramatic reading of "The Poetic Edda" from Norse mythology featuring Thor, Odin, and Loki. The event will be held on March 6 from 6-9 p.m. in the gym. All ages are welcome to listen, play games, and everyone is encouraged to come dressed for a costume contest. Any students or teachers who would like to participate in the dramatic reading should see Mr. Jordan for a part.
