HOWDY ARMY - This latest Aggie Update newsletter contains information on the continued significance of Dallas A&M Club membership, as well as upcoming club-related activities and events - such as the April edition of the AGGIE BUSINESS LUNCHEON, on deck for Wednesday and featuring Lynn Krebs '92 as guest speaker, and the next FRIDAY LUNCHEON. Membership-related gifts are the foundation of our annual fundraising efforts and allow the Dallas A&M Club to award considerable scholarships each year to multiple deserving Dallas-area high school seniors that will be attending Texas A&M, to also occasionally contribute to important endeavors at Texas A&M, and to maintain club-related programs in Dallas County for former students of Texas A&M. Dallas A&M Club membership applications may be submitted via the MEMBERSHIP page on the DAMC website. Lifetime and active, dues-paying members for 2015 are listed on the SPONSORS & DONORS page. Please note that annual memberships are valid January 1 through December 31. In addition, your lifetime or annual donation to the DAMC, a 501(c)3 organization, is tax deductible to the full extent of the law. Founded in 1902, the Dallas A&M Club has previously awarded hundreds of thousands of dollars in scholarships to Dallas-area students attending Texas A&M. As the primary chartered A&M Club for Dallas County, the DAMC has also generously given back to The Association of Former Students by contributing to the following programs: Building Enhancement Campaign, Endowed Aggie Ring Scholarship, Endowed Diamond Century Club, Endowed Scholarship Fund, Annual Fund, and the Corregidor Muster Memorial Fund. In addition to giving to The Association of Former Students, the Dallas A&M Club has funded President's Endowed Scholarships, Regents' Scholarship, Southerland Aggie Leadership Scholarship, Sul Ross Scholarship, and Endowed Senior Boots Scholarship - while donating additionally on occasion to other significant endeavors of the Texas A&M Foundation and the 12th Man Foundation.
