Increasing Access via Mentoring Program (I AM)
University of Southern California
Dear

By now you should have heard from all of your colleges and universities regarding admission decisions. Remember that you have until May 1 to decide which college or university to attend. Orientation sessions, housing applications, and other campus events/services generally have separate applications registration deadlines. Please follow the directions provided in your printed and/or electronic admission packets.

Many of you may be choosing between two or three institutions and we got you covered! Make sure to attend our College/Major Choice Workshop, which will be held on Saturday, April 11 at USC. (See below for more details.) We understand that many of you may be disappointed if you didn't get into your top choices. Nonetheless, you should consider your current alternatives to go onto college.

Lastly, our SummerTime 2015 application is officially open! All application materials will be due Friday, May 8 (see bellow for more details).

It's exciting that you are going to college but remember to enjoy the rest of your senior year! There are only two months left until graduation so stay focused and keep up your grades!

Sincerely,

I AM Staff

Tests

CSU Placement Test: Registration and Practice Test

The CSU requires you to take the English Placement Test (EPT) and the Entry-Level Mathematics Tests (ELM) before you enroll at any CSU (you might be exempt from taking the EPT and/or ELM before you enroll; review the exemption guidelines here.) Your scores will determine which English and Math courses you should take when you begin your career at a CSU.
  • The EPT and the ELM are not admission tests. They will not affect your admission to any CSU campus; the tests simply help determine which courses best match your level of performance in Math and English.
