Cultivating peace in Afghanistan with saffron 
Rumi Spice, founded by a group of US military veterans who have served in Afghanistan, has a unique tool for peace in Afghanistan: Saffron. "We are leveraging the power of the American consumer economy to increase stability in Afghanistan," says Keith Alaniz, a US Army veteran, who co-founded Rumi Spice with several HBS alums. 
A literary colossus
The Murty Classical Library of India hopes to introduce a vast corpus of literature, thought, and science to fresh audiences across the world. "It's completely transformative," said Parimal Patil, Chair of the Department of South Asian Studies and SAI Steering Committee member, to the Gazette. The final launch event took place at the Harvard Art Museums on Thursday, March 5.
Podcast: Decolonization in Nagaland and South West Africa
In this podcast, SAI Graduate Student Associate 
Lydia Walker, PhD Candidate, Department of History, talks about her dissertation, 'Stillborn States: Failed Nationalism in Nagaland and South West Africa, 1960-1966,' a connective project that looks at decolonization in the early 1960s.
