The MWCC and The University of Maryland have partnered to offer this course for managers, engineers, or anyone interested in a comprehensive understanding of the process of Layout Design for Lean Operations.

You will learn:

  • The Facility Design Process
  • Product Families and Product Flows
  • Lean Tools and Methods
  • Equipment and People Factors
  • And More!

The course includes an overview of lean principles, so no prior exposure to lean is needed.

Day 2 is all hands-on, and includes a Facility Design Challenge that helps you learn classroom theory by doing!
