We all know the anxious pang we feel when we see or hear a child who doesn't feel well, coughs or cries.
Charleston Promise Neighborhood practices a two-pronged approach to maintaining the health and wellness of children in our schools. We have school-based health clinics staffed by MUSC in each of our four schools, and we host "What to Do When Your Child Gets Sick" workshops throughout the community.
Recently, through our Kidswell school-based clinic, a Kindergarten teacher, concerned about the persistent cough of a student, took the Kindergartener to the clinic.
