Adviser Abadi: we import 70 tons of gold per year and decline proves the strength of the dinar

If I recall correctly, this rider is a special provision that applies to the exchange rate of the IQD. Is this correct?

If so, before they can use the rider don't they need to have let their currency move to an RI or something better than 1166?   Blessings,   Robdel

Today is Monday July 27th and still no RV, and this also includes Kurdistan....lol......  No surprise to me !

HG :  Seems like I'm often not sure of things but are we just happy that it looks like the dinar might be international soon or are we really happy with a 1095 rate?

J.G.:  HearingGod, you are mirroring my thoughts here...I am confused why anyone would be excited about  Iraq coming out of the gate with a rate of 1095....that is hardly more than we purchased them for in the first place....how would it benefit Iraq to come out a such a low rate....that seems absurd to me that Iraq would even consider something like this ...so what if it means "yay, they have gone international"...doesn't benefit us at all....I am really confused about all of this....anyone care to    help me out here???

HG:  I think I've seen Nova post that he didn't care what rate they came out with as long as they came out with a real rate ..... I agree though I'm not sure ???

Iko Ward:   Oh yeah, lots of fun out there this morning. China tanked, ISX continues its slow slide down, Gold is playing everyone, more announcements out of Iraq but who can figure them out? Forex remained at 1130 all night and just polled 1.3 which might as well be 0.0. This is where you say you are glad you don't manage an international hedge fund or advise international investment clients. Looking to 10AM for more info.

SandolaG:  Where does a person go to~ to follow the currency rates each day? and am I correct in my thinking that ISX / FOREX opens daily around 5 - 5:30pm eastern?

Iko Ward:   Sandola...a god time to check Forex is 8PM EST, 3AM EST and 7:30AM EST, Sunday thru Friday. ISX trades shows results around 4AM. They start Saturday and end Thursday.

There are significant changes building and a lot happening right now that was unforeseen.  The energies for shifting the economy have tightened the controls and the makers of power are watchful.  

Not good news but it is what it is and the times are chaotic. That does not mean that all is lost.  

Only that we as a society have to live through these turbulent times and so make a concerted effort to stay sane, stay focused, do what is before each and strive to make a difference in a positive upbeat way.  

The changes occurring are significant ones and have to do with dis-empowering the folk who are or have been creating a lot of this upheaval.  

Taking steps as one would if faced with an upcoming war and facing rationing might not be a bad idea.  As has been said in several places. Not at all meaning that war is the intended outcome, only that common sense must prevail.  

Just because most have lived with a sense of entitlement does not mean they were, or that entitlement will be delivered any longer.  You must read between the lines.

Imagine becoming vastly wealthy overnight. Being a winner of a multimillion dollar lottery has to be incredible. It certainly is going to be a life-changing event for almost every single lottery winner. But what about when the prize is an astronomical sum of $100 million, $200 million or $300 million? 

Various Powerball and Mega Millions lotteries have reached vast sums and lotteries elsewhere in the country may as well.

Future Powerball and state lottery ticket winners will become incredibly wealthy in an instant. Imagine being Joe Somebody and turning into Sir Joe the Magnificent overnight. Now imagine the unthinkable that Sir Joe could become Joe the Village Idiot in a very short time. Supposedly most lottery winners end up broke again. That just doesn't seem right at all.

Accountability and Culpability... As a father, a friend, an employer and a group leader, I know all too well the distinction of what l am accountable for and to whom and also what I can be held culpable for in the various roles. 

Lately it seems as if we have been getting a lot of bad information from individuals who find the need to push their ideas, agendas or personal views. In the end almost nothing stated as fact or opinion has come to pass. It is all still just embroidering or hyperbole. 

Here are the facts as I see them - Dinar boards are gathering place for like-minded individuals to congregate, mixed with links to what information providers are posting that it is going to revalue today, based on the information their secret source told them.
