OR help us man our booth!  If you want to volunteer please email Kate Coneen at [email protected]

A local Clearview High School student, Courtney Dvorak, is leading this great cause. Here's her story:

After completing a 30-day residential treatment program last year for eating disorders, Courtney returned to Clearview and noticed something about her peers. "I saw other people struggling," she said. "And no one was talking about it." Courtney responded by starting the first-ever high school chapter of Project HEAL, an international organization that raises money to help pay for the treatment of eating disorder patients and promotes a message of positive body image. In-patient treatment, covered for only 30 days by most insurance companies, can cost a family around $30,000 a month. To further that goal, Courtney is organizing Harrison Township's first NEDA walk, which will be held Oct. 26.

Thanks!
