Job Duties:
*Conduct bio psychosocial assessments utilizing clinical interview techniques, mental status examination, collection of history from collaborative sources, psychometric screening tools and psychological testing, laboratory and imaging studies, collaboration with other clinic staff and referrals, as needed for the purpose of determining an accurate Mental Health diagnosis and plan of treatment

*Maintain an ongoing relationship with the patient for counseling and case management of patients with psychiatric disorders and arrange for referral is more specialized mental health services are indicated
*Liaison and report to higher facility as required for patient's continuum of care
*Work collaboratively with healthcare team in Primary Care

Requirements:
*Master's Degree in Social work from a school accredited by The Council of Social Work Education (CSWE)
*Minimum of 2 years of recent clinical experience (within the 5 years immediately preceding)

Posterity Group is seeking a Family Practice Physician for Fort Bragg, NC

 

Job Description:

ROLE AND RESPONSIBILITIES
The qualified Family Practice Physician shall provide care at a standard enabling the Military Treatment Facility (MTF) to provide services at a high level of quality. The qualified candidate should be able to maintain the following standard acceptable measures:
(a) Education: Physicians must have completed an accredited medical degree program. 
(b) Certification and Licensure: Be licensed as a Family Practice Physician with a current valid, full and unrestricted license in one of the 50 states in the United States, and the District of Columbia, the Commonwealth of Puerto Rico, Guam or the U.S. Virgin Islands.  
(c) Continuing Education:  Education beyond initial professional preparation that is relevant to the type of patient care delivered in the organization, that provides current knowledge relevant to the individual's field of practice, and that is related to findings from quality assurance activities. 
(d) Experience: Have a minimum of two years of clinical experience in the practice of family medicine as a family practitioner for the two years prior to the commencement of services under this contract. 
(e) Supplement to contract enclosure 7 "Medical Specialties Minimum Qualifications". Contractor HCP shall be Board Certified.  

 

DIRECT HEALTH CARE PROVIDER MEDICAL SPECIALTIES MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS 
Physician - General and Family Medicine Qualifications: Education: Physician will have successfully completed an Undergraduate Program, Medical School (M.D. or D.O.), Internship, and Residency Program Certification: Current BLS and ACLS if required by the client Experience: Minimum of 1 year experience within preceding 3 years in the specialty Licensure: Valid unrestricted medical license in at least 1 state, territory or commonwealth of the U.S. and will at a minimum be Board Eligible (note requirement)

 

QUALIFICATIONS AND EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS
All contractor HCPs shall have, and maintain, current certification in Basic Cardiac Life Support (BCLS) and Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) as certified by the American Heart Association. Documentation of such training shall be provided to the Credentialing Department. The front and back of the BCLS and ACLS shall be provided to the Credentialing Department.
The Physician shall have a minimum of at least two years of primary care experience treating patients of all ages for routine, urgent and emergent diseases and injuries and no more than twelve (12) months since the last work assignment.
Contract HCPs determined by the MTF to be involved in the delivery of healthcare to children under the age of 18 on a frequent and regular basis must meet the requirements of the Crime Prevention Act of 1990.

 

ADDITIONAL NOTES
All contract HCPs shall be able to read, write, and speak English well enough to effectively communicate with patients, other Health Care Providers and employees of the MTF.
All contract HCPs shall be required to meet Continuing Medical Education (CME) requirements. The Government will not reimburse for these costs.

Posterity Group - Physician Assistant

We are seeking a Physician Assistant for Minot Air Force Base, North Dakota -Travel Required

 

NONE Level/Salary Range: Commensurate with experience

 

ROLE AND RESPONSIBILITIES
The Physician Assistant shall perform and provide medical examination and treatment as required by the MTF, Chief, Department of Primary Care and Community Medicine (DPCCM), or Counterpart, at each location. The Physician Assistant shall perform the services, which a military Physician with similar training and experience would be called upon to perform while in a similar duty assignment. The Physician Assistant shall be responsible for a regular appointed clinic, compatible with workload and, in addition, provide immediate evaluation and management of emergent problems as they occur. All PA's shall have the capability to:
Collect and record, in proper format, medical and social historical data appropriate to the patient's condition.
Perform a general physical examination. Record the findings in proper format and determine medical qualifications for various purposes.
Select the most appropriate diagnosis and treat in cases of uncomplicated common illness and injuries (refer when necessary)
Recognize those more complicated cases, initiate treatment (if appropriate), and refer to a higher level of medical expertise for diagnosis and or treatment.
Plan and initiate proper treatment within the PA's defined privileges and the scope of practice of the facility.
Identify and report those situations and individual cases which have public health significance and carry out effect control measures.
Clearly communicate to other health personnel either orally or in writing the findings, diagnosis, and planned treatment regimen
Stabilize and manage a patient in a medical or surgical emergency and or transfer to physician care.
Determine appropriate means of evacuation of emergency patients, prepare patients for evacuation, and arrange for evacuation support.
Perform the following blocks: digital, local infiltration, and intercostal
Emergency procedures: Cricothyriodotomy External cardiac compression; set-up chest tube bottles attach Heimlich valve; needle thoracentesis debride wound, superficial; cosmetic closure, facial wound closure, scalp wound closure
Orthopedic procedures
Podiatry procedures
Instruct patient in prevention
General surgical procedures
Urological procedures
Maintain inpatient and outpatient medical records in accordance with MTF procedures

QUALIFICATIONS AND EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS
The Physician Assistant shall be a graduate of a Physician Assistant program qualified by academic and practical education to provide patient services as a physician extender under supervision of a physician. Be a graduate of a Physician Assistant Training program accredited by the Accreditation Review Commission on Education for the Physician Assistant (ARCPA) or its predecessors, and acceptable to the Surgeon, USAF is mandatory. ROLE AND RESPONSIBILITIES
The Pharmacist Serves patients by preparing medications; giving pharmacological information to multidisciplinary health care team; monitoring patient drug therapies. As well as have the following:
A working knowledge of pharmacy computer systems such as CHCS computer system.
Perform a full range of pharmacist procedures.
Deliver comprehensive pharmaceutical services within the personnel, supply, and equipment capabilities of the facility.
Counsel patients regarding appropriate use of medications.
Review patient profiles at the time of dispensing in order to closely monitor medication therapy.
Ensure prescription directions for use, dose, medication interactions, therapeutic duplications or overlaps, allergy information, age specific dosage, and other pertinent data are appropriate for individual patients. Intervention with providers shall be made for noted discrepancy of above listed items.
Compound medications as required.
Ensure accuracy of all pharmaceutical products prepared or processed by technical staff.
Work closely with clinical staff in developing patient wellness programs such as smoking cessation programs and asthma classes.
Provide medication information and medication therapy guidelines to the clinical staff as required.
Provide medication and healthcare related in service training to clinical staff on new medications on the market; appropriate use of medications; comparison of current medication therapies; and other topics as deemed appropriate by the department head.
Provide clinical direction to pharmacy personnel.
Supervise inventory control of all pharmaceuticals in the pharmacy, especially, scheduled pharmaceuticals, and ensure pharmacy security. Maintain appropriate records and security of all scheduled controlled substances according to applicable regulations
Consult with other specialty practitioners to provide optimal patient pharmaceutical care.
Ensure that work areas are clean and safe according to applicable regulations.
Document significant medication interactions, and pharmacy interactions with prescribers. Conduct Adverse Drug Reaction (ADR) reporting in accordance with
TJC or AAAHC standards as appropriate.
Facilitate medical staff drug utilization reviews (DURs) as deemed necessary

 

QUALIFICATIONS AND EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS

The qualified candidate will assist the Federal Deposit Insurance Company (FDIC) in implementing the AvePoint migration tool (AvePoint Migrator and DocAve Content Manager) and in the migration of content to SharePoint 2013. The candidate will also assist with the design and implementation of the DocAve Platform in a Lab and/or Development environment as well as implementation documentation. The Department of State (DOS) and the Department of Defense (DOD) will complete a transition from DOD-led U.S. presence in Afghanistan to a DOS-led U.S. presence under the  Afghanistan Life Support Services (AliSS) contract.  The ALiSS establishes a clinically safe and professionally managed healthcare environment and provides primary health care as well as resuscitative surgical care in accordance with U.S. or equivalent medical standards on a 24-hour basis, 365 days of the year to Chief of Mission (COM) personnel in Afghanistan.

SCOPE:
The Biomedical Equipment Technician reports to and is supervised by the AliSS Program Manager or a designated Project Management Office (PMO) official and coordinates their work with the site medical director or other primary medical equipment users (Radiologist, Physicians, Surgeons, Nurses, Nurse Practitioners, Physician's Assistants, Medical Technologists) on the work site
The Biomedical Equipment Technician will be assigned to repair or maintain equipment in one of three settings: (1) Large medical/trauma hospitals, (2) Small medical/trauma hospital and assists in examination and treatment of patients under the direction of a physician, (3) Non-surgical field Health units.
In these settings, Medical Maintenance Specialists install, repair and maintain medical equipment to ensure it is clean, safe and functioning properly. This includes Biomedical equipment that requires use of computers with specialized software, hand tools and other repair shop equipment to diagnose and fix problems with a wide variety of healthcare technology. Work on X-ray and ultrasound machines, respirators and heart defibrillators, electric wheelchairs and hospital beds, or medical laboratory equipment is also required. Biomedical Equipment Technician will assist with Medical equipment set up and disinfect laboratory and healthcare equipment so it is safe and ready to use.
All services shall be provided in accordance with established standards, principles and ethics of the profession, applicable professional specialty organizations, and the high-quality standard for which CHS is recognized.

All Bio Med Techs will require a favorably adjudicated Moderate Risk Public Trust (MRPT) investigation conducted by the Department of State, Bureau of Diplomatic Security;
Medical Maintenance Specialists will sign a CHS MSSI Foreign Service Agreement (FSA) and is bound to the terms and conditions of the FSA.
Must have a valid, current U.S. Driver's License
Must have a current U.S. Passport.
Shall be proficient in the ability to speak, write and communicate in English.
Shall demonstrate proficiency in the use of basic word processing programs and the CHS Medical Management System software.

SCOPE:
This position description is applicable to all Western Trained Medical Doctors (WTMD) who may be selected. The Western Trained Medical Doctor reports to the Joint Base Balad Medical Support Program Manager and is supervised by the designated site medical director and may be a:
*Emergency Medicine Specialist (defined by current board certification) with a broad interest and experience in providing primary care across the range of office-based specialties including, but not limited to, GYN, dermatology, ENT, pulmonary, cardiovascular, ophthalmology, orthopedics, psychology and gastroenterology.

*Family Medicine Specialist (defined by current board certified or equivalent board certification) with interests as defined above and with an interest, additional training and practice experience to include the broad range of gynecologic, medical, surgical, orthopedic, psychiatric and trauma emergency.

*Internal Medicine Specialist with interests as defined above and with an interest, additional training and practice experience to include the broad range of gynecologic, medical, surgical, orthopedic, psychiatric and trauma emergencies.

The WTMD will treat patients in these settings to ensure proper injury care and disease diagnosis, treatment and recovery, request necessary tests and follow-up visits and refer patients to specialists as necessary. Some settings will require the WTMD to coordinate with local hospitals to determine local capabilities, coordinate admission, monitor and arrange final disposition. In addition, some settings will require stabilization of patient and coordination of evacuation of patient to medevac center or CONUS. In some locations, the WTMD will have a leadership role and serve as both a Physician and Site Medical Director or Chief Medical Officer in support of a Program Manager.

The WTMD provide a U.S. standard of care for our patient care/treatment model.

 

QUALIFICATIONS:

Education
Graduate of accredited US Medical School or equivalent international school.

Experience
Have a minimum of 5 years post residency medical practice experience in US.
