God is at work!

FBC is seeing God move in wonderful ways, and we don't want you to miss out.  Join us as we experience His incredible will being fulfilled!

 

Food - Fun - Fellowship

Bring a covered dish to share.  The quartet "Sweet Manna" will be leading us in worship.  There will be games and prizes for children.  And there will be a cake walk for all ages.

 

Join us for an exciting and fun night for kids!  We'll be watching the new Veggie Tales movie - "Celery Night Fever"!

For preschoolers (parents must stay with preschoolers) through 6th graders.

 

Be sure to change your clocks Saturday night, so you will be right on time for worship and Sunday School.

And remember that our p.m. service will also "fall back" to 5:00 p.m.

 

Each Christmas we decorate the sanctuary, and you can help.  You can purchase poinsettias ($8.85 each) in honor or in memory of your loved ones.

Pick up a form in the church office.

 

Each year we help children around the world experience the gifts and the message of Christmas through Operation Christmas Child.  Pick up a brochure (or several) at church, so you will know what to pack in the box(es).

 

It is such a joy and gives peace of heart to know that our thriving preschool ministry has so many loving, dedicated helpers.  Your children will flourish here.

For ALL Adults: Join us for Prayer Meeting - a special time of worship, prayer, and Bible study led by Dr. Jay Cook.

For Women: Join us as we go through some great studies and discover how to live by faith with our Sisters - led by Kristi Cook

For Men: Join us as we go through a powerful study of Proverbs and look at what it means to really be a Man of God - led by Bro. Dennis Ray Smith.

 

We have a new, more accessible church vehicle (including steps, an aisle, and hand-rails).  If you'd like to help us pay for it, please mark your extra gifts for the bus.

 

Our hearts are drawn to worship the One who loves and saves.  And at FBC there are so many ways to experience that worship.

We invite you to join us as we worship Jesus together.

Sundays at 8:30 a.m. - We celebrate Him in a contemporary worship service that will thrill your spirit and speak to your heart.

Sundays at 11:00 a.m. - We celebrate Him in our traditional worship service that speaks to our hearts and moves our spirit.

Sundays at 5:00 p.m. - We meet in a relaxed setting to study God's Word verse-by-verse.

Experience God's presence and movement with us.  You will be changed.

 

You can be part of our Van Ministry!

God is blessing FBC with many new hearts.  But there are many who cannot join us unless we can go get them.  In fact, we already know of some people who would come if a van could pick them up.

If you know of some who "need a ride," please let the church office know (762-2343).

Cooper Hogue is heading up this wonderful ministry, and we can still use some more help.  We are in need of people willing to drive or ride with the driver to pick up people and take them home on Sundays and Wednesdays.  We also need some more people who can help us contact those who are interested - to line them up for pickup.  Please call the church office if you can help (762-2343).

 

Prayer is not only a wonderful blessing, but it is absolutely vital for Christians and the Church.

Prayer Meeting is a special time each week (Wednesdays at 6:00 p.m.) when we focus on prayer.
