| All, With the 40th anniversary of Firehouse, there has been quite a bit of chatter about Dennis Smith-and what he is up to... over 40 years later. For those of you younger TSL members, Dennis Smith wrote the iconic book "Report from Engine Co 82" - (link below) and many books after that. Richard Pula has been a Denver firefighter for 15 years. In that time he was been on more than 3,000 calls. In 2015, Pula was diagnosed with stage 4, Non-Hodgkin's lymphoma. He's is just one of hundreds of Colorado firefighters who have been diagnosed with cancer. CHECK THIS OUT:
