Vilyuchinsky Volcano's regular cone, visible across Avacha Bay from Petropavlovsk-Kamchatsky, even from a distance stirs ones imagination with its majesty and splendor. Dazzling white in winter or grey and white from alternate lines of rock edges and snow paths in summer, Viluchinsky is a true gem of Avacha Bay. Its view is set off by steam pillars, produced by two neighboring volcanoes: Mutnovsky and Gorely. The latter is a bit smaller in size. Read more...

Museum of Flight, Seattle on July 11th and
Great Falls, Montana on July 17/18/19th.

This summer, to mark the 70th anniversary of the end of World War II, the BRAVO 369 Flight Foundation flight team will embark on a harrowing re-creation flight of the Alaskan-Siberian military air route from Montana to Russia. Flying vintage two-seat, North American AT-6 aircraft, the pilots will trace much of the dangerous, 6,000-mile route that was part of the massive U.S. Lend-Lease Program. The Foundation will fly three of their AT-6s to the Museum, where they will be displayed for the day.

Representatives form the US, Canada, and Russia will be in attendance as we fly across North America to Siberia celebrating friendship and goodwill  across three nations, both then and now.
