This Week in Westland
 April 11, 2015 - April 19, 2015
Central City Parkway Road Project - A Roads project is getting underway in Westland. The City of Westland  is executing a pavement repairs project along Central City Parkway between Warren Rd. and Wayne Rd.  Access will be maintained at all times for all traffic including emergency vehicles and to all of the businesses throughout the project.  Traffic will be restricted to one lane in each direction, with intermittent stoppages of traffic during certain construction activities by flagmen.  This project will be broken down into Three (3) phases.

Phase 1 has a tentative start date of Monday, April  13 and a tentative completion date of May 22, 2015.  During this phase, the outside lanes of Central City Parkway will be closed to traffic to perform concrete removal and replacement.  The inside lanes and center turn lane will remain open.  Once repairs are complete, traffic will be moved onto the outside lanes.  At least one access to each property will remain open at all time.

You can read more about the other two phases of the project at  http://www.cityofwestland.com/city-government/office-of-the-mayor/special-notice
