TC Chillemi Memorial Ride/Walk/Run
At Lifetime Fitness in Plano on Sept 27
This is a great event that my wife and I learned about a couple of years ago. Launched by Bob & Lorraine Chillemi in memory of their son, TC, the event generates funds to support counseling for substance abuse. Your registration fee for the event is actually a donation directly to the charity - while the sponsors and family pay all the event expenses.
The smaller crowd and family connection make it an easy to enjoy event. They have a walk/run course in addition to a variety of bike routes, making it easy to include the rest of the family.
