Easter Brunch, April 5: 9:45 a.m. Mark your calendar for UPC's annual Easter Congregational Brunch! This year, the brunch will be held on Sunday, April 5, at 9:45 a.m. in the Fellowship Hall. The Administration, Congregational Life and PYPs Committees will host this potluck fellowship brunch. Beverages will be provided, and we ask that each member of the congregation bring a breakfast dish to share (quiche, muffins, fruit, etc.). Savory breakfast dishes, as well as fruit, are greatly appreciated as we attempt to balance out our Sunday morning Krispy Kreme allowance. Please remember to label your dishes and serving spoons with your name if you'd like to have them back. Be sure to pick up anything you brought with you following the brunch. This is a wonderful opportunity to celebrate Easter with your church family.

One Great Hour of Sharing Offering: On Easter Sunday, April 5, we will be receiving the One Great Hour of Sharing offering. Since 1949, Presbyterians have joined with millions of other Christians through this special offering to share God's love with those in need. This offering helps support the work of Presbyterian Disaster Assistance, the Self-Development of People program and the Presbyterian Hunger Program.

You may choose to do both! The names of those we honor or remember will appear in the Easter Sunday Worship Bulletin, April 5, 2015.

Godly Play Storytellers

Each Sunday during the 11:00 worship service, children age four through kindergarten are invited to go to the Godly Play room following the Time with Children. This is a special place for worship and wonder. After the children hear and see the story, they are invited to respond to the story through art. We are beginning to look for storytellers for the 2015-2016 year. No previous Godly Play experience is required and there is a training coming up on Saturday, April 11.

If you are interested in hearing more about being a storyteller, please contact Leslie Moye or Meg Powell.

Presbyterian Panel Opportunity

The Presbyterian Panel is a PC (USA) group consisting of Presbyterians who respond to occasional surveys either online, by mail or by phone. It's an opportunity for the denomination to reach out to members and ask for their input on different topics of interest. If you are interested in being on the Presbyterian Panel, click here to register.

It's important that the group of panelists selected represents Presbyterians as a whole, so the initial request will be answering demographic questions to help select a representative sample of the denomination. If selected, you will receive a welcome letter with further details. If you are not selected right away, you will be kept on a list of potential future Panelists. You can unsubscribe from the list at any time.

If you have any questions, please email Research Services or call (800) 728-7228 ext. 2040.
