Dear Street's Hope Supporter,
Is anyone else amazed that it is mid-October already? Hopefully you will have a chance to enjoy the golden aspen leaves this autumn! Our residents enjoyed getting time in the beautiful Colorado mountains recently on a church retreat thanks to Bear Valley Church! We know each of them had a wonderful, refreshing time.
It was wonderful seeing many of your lovely faces at our "Celebration of Hope: A Decade of Transforming Lives" event just a few weeks ago. Thank YOU so much for supporting us to raise much needed funds to keep Street's Hope running! We are SO excited to announce that we exceeded our fundraising goal by bringing in over $45,000. We cannot tell you what joy (and a huge sigh of relief) we all felt to see those numbers come together because we truly could not keep our doors open without raising support from wonderful individuals like you all! Before closing, we wanted to share that we have several new residents in the house right now and they are all settling into our safe, caring, and stable environment beautifully. Lately, we have been overjoyed to see the women coming alongside another to support each other in their healing process. One example of this is two roommates--a middle aged woman and a young lady still in her teen years--that have been supporting each other in a powerful way. It is exciting when the ladies find common ground as they cross over generational, ethnic, and social barriers with the goal of supporting one another. Without YOUR support, we would not be able to provide a safe house and holistic treatment for women like these two, so again, THANK YOU for your immense support! Best Wishes and Happy Autumn,
