What is your Passion?

Over the past few months we have met with The Valley Economic Alliance board members and investors, and learned about their community passion projects. We have started to connect like minded Alliance leaders to their passions which includes developing young entrepreneurs, finding jobs for veterans, transportation and environmental projects.

Over the Holidays, we remodeled the office with fresh paint and new carpet. Join us at our new office for a Grand Reopening & Ribbon Cutting on Thursday, January 22, 2015 from 9:30am-10am.

In other news, Business Life Magazine featured The Valley Economic Alliance in their Outlook 2015 issue. I shared my plans on the Valley Visionaries project and the Executive Forecast. Click below to read more.

Examine Innovation, Infrastructure and Social Media
at the Executive Forecast on January 23
Executive Forecast - January 23, 2015

We are days away from the first ever Executive Forecast set for Friday, January 23, 2015 at the Hilton Woodland Hills. This premiere event is a "TED Talk" type discussion to examine innovation, infrastructure and social media. Experts will discuss topical issues, share innovative tools that will help you grow your business and identify methods for incorporating these into your long term strategic plan.

For the first time ever, we will be incorporating new and innovative technology to engage attendees and capture data on topics relative to importance. Attendees will use their smart phones prior to each presentation and rate the importance of topics for speakers to prioritize their remarks.

Experts include Simon Nielsen, founder and CEO of Ctrl.Me Robotics who will discuss how industries such as entertainment, real estate, agriculture and homeland security have been incorporating drones as part of their evolving practice. Martin L. Adams, deputy senior assistant general manager of water operations, Los Angeles Department of Water and Power will discuss how their recycling water plan will help businesses reduce their water expense. Thomas Lorenz, director of communications and community relations with the City of Glendale will share how retail, education and law enforcement can use new social media technology as a tool to improve customer satisfaction.
