ARCADE-STYLE VIDEO GAMBLING MAY BE COMING

In order to attract younger "millennials" born after 1980, Nevada is drawing up plans to introduce arcade-style video games that pay out based on a gambler's skill. The hope is to attract younger people who have been raised on Xbox, PlayStation and mobile game apps and don't enjoy slot machines. For more information, click here.

AMENDMENT TO STUDY PROBLEM GAMBLING AT U.S. MILITARY FACILITIES ADOPTED BY SENATE

The U.S. Senate adopted an amendment to the National Defense Authorization Act introduced by Sen. Elizabeth Warren, calling for the Government Accountability Office to study whether additional resources are needed to help members of the armed forces who struggle with gambling addictions.
