Awards Available Soon!
USA Top 25 Ranking Awards will be available to order by December 31st. Any athlete ranked in the Indoor or Outdoor rankings from 2007 through 2014 Indoor seasons may order awards using an online or downloadable order form. Initially, awards will be certificates and patches with merchandise like apparel and bags added later if enough interest. World Regional Awards scoring system is still being developed and should be posted by the end of December. The World Top 100 awards program is being developed. Click here for more |
Rankings System Funding Needed!
 A huge thank you to all who have contributed, advised and helped. The fundraising efforts have not yielded any support so this system is still in jeopardy of being discontinued. You can help this site continue by:
- Donating and encouraging those who can afford to and think this is worthy of support to donate. Click here to donate
- Sending Rankings Prospectus to people who you think may be interested in supporting this system. Some of you have come up with some less conventional rankings supporters like a billionaire who is an avid sportsman and an assistant to a company president who is very empathetic of this mission because of his father's participation in masters sports. Rankings System is Much More Reliable
The server transition was mentioned in the first newsletter. The new server is much better than the previous and trial servers but the programs were outdated and needed to be redone. I am just finishing reprogramming the site including the administrative functions. Consequently, I have not inserted too many meets into the rankings this month. I will begin inserting many results into the system starting tomorrow. The meets I will start with are the results you have emailed to me then I will start converting and inserting the many meets for which you have posted or sent me links to results. I expect to receive the original files for the WMA South American Championships so I will wait for them instead of taking several hours to convert and insert since this method will result in many errors. Those who want to have their results listed sooner should submit their own results using the online form. My apologies for the delays.
I post notifications on the Facebook page when I upload meet results. Remember that the notifications I post to Facebook do not go to all who liked the page so you will need to check the Facebook pages for all of the notifications. Click here to go to the Facebook page

Do you have multiple citizenships?
Any individual with multiple citizenships can now appear on each national and regional list. Several athletes profiles have been updated with your citizenships. Any athlete that has multiple citizenships and has not been updated should email me your name, the countries where you are a citizen, effective dates for each country (include end date if you changed citizenship - all others will be handled as multiple citizenships) and the "primary" country. The primary country will be the one which is shown on all the main rankings lists. You will be able to see your ranking on your profile page for all of your citizenships and the appropriate WMA region. |
Awareness and Acceptance Continues to Increase
This system is worthless if it isn't complete, widely known and accepted. Awareness and acceptance continues to increase and results are being provided by more nations and people. One masters athlete has provided several Australian results and has created a really efficient means to provide results plus is working on getting results from New Zealand. Norway is working on getting exports from their database (just like Canada does). Many national masters websites now have this site link too. It seems like there are many more new people visiting the site each day. |
Have you been getting responses to your emails or comment posts?
Some people have not been receiving responses I have been sending. I try to send responses to every email and question, comment, error, etc. post. I send many responses immediately (within minutes) and try to send all responses within 24 hours. Please check your spam folder and confirm you have received or let me know you haven't if you don't see a response within 48 hours. I will try alternate email addresses to get them to you. You can also increase the potential to receive responses by setting [email protected] and [email protected] as safe senders in your email settings. Responses to online posts and thank you notes for donations are sent using an email function from the site using [email protected]. |
