This year, under the leadership of Father Thomas K. Ludwig, the Parish plans to renew their commitment to the public, by focusing on a community-wide activities and fundraisers this year, starting with their 7th Annual Mardi Gras celebration taking place on Saturday, February 07,2015 from 5:00pm until 9:00pm. The church is located at 1616 Paseo Boulevard, Kansas City, MO 64108. The location is located in Ferguson Hall adjacent to the church. A portion of the funds raised will benefit the the youth programs in place at the church.
The menu for this event boasts authentic Creole and Cajun style dishes. Meals will include a selection of Gumbo, red beans and rice, baked chicken, and a dessert. The live entertainment and DJ is sure to please with adult music selections, including festive Zydeco music featuring the Ernest James Zydeco Band and old school rhythm and blues.
