2015 Topps Tribute MLB hit last week and while we are sold out, we should see more on Thursday.  So you know, some of the autographs have had issues (fortunately not the ones shown above from the shop) and Topps has offered to recall the release.  Based on the popularity and offer exchange damaged autographed cards, we will be bringing it back in ASAP.

----------

Over the years, the Topps Tribute line has carved out a niche for offering a broad mix of autographs and memorabilia from multiple generations of baseball stars, greats and young players. It's also, traditionally, something of a risky product given its high-end price tag. All these return with 2015 Topps Tribute Baseball, which promises three autographs and a trio of memorabilia cards in every six-pack box.

While Tribute has had an extensive amount of on-card signatures in the past, some stickers have made their way into the product. However, not so in 2015. All autographs in the product are hard-signed. Basic Tribute Autographs are the most common. All are numbered and come with the following parallels: Green, Orange, Black, Gold (#/25), Purple (#/10), Printing Plates, Onyx (1/1) and Red (1/1).

2015 Topps Tribute Baseball has reworked some of the other autograph inserts. Foundations of Greatness Autographs uses images from early in the featured player's career, whether that was recently or decades ago. The set includes several generations of players. Also new are Rightful Recognition Autographs. Both of these inserts

have Black, Gold (#/25), Purple (#/10), Printing Plate, Onyx (1/1) and Red(1/1) parallels.

Also making their debut are To the Victors Autographs. The cards, which spotlight World Series Champions, use a die-cut design and are inserted as a case hit.

Eccentric Eye Black returns. Numbered to 5, the card's autograph is joined by an eye black sticker.

Among the highlight signers in the product are Hank Aaron, Cal Ripken, Ken Griffey Jr, Yasiel Puig, Roger Clemens, Giancarlo Stanton, Mark McGwire, Mariano Rivera, Yu Darvish and Javier Baez. 2015 Topps Tribute Baseball also has autographs from Rusney Castillo. Even with Topps pledging to have a stronger checklist, collectors should be realistic and not expect every autograph to be an all-time great or future Hall of Famer.

It should also be noted that a lot of the autographs appear to either have smudges or ink issues. The degree with which this is a problem varies from card to card, but it's important to be aware of if you're planning on opening packs and boxes. If you're buying singles off the secondary market, be sure to check the images closely. Because of this problem, Topps issued a full recall of the product, asking collectors and dealers to return unopened product back for a refund. They also set up a program for those who opened the product to exchange autographs.

Tribute Relics make up the basic memorabilia component of 2015 Topps Tribute Baseball. Like previous years, collectors can expect swatches from veterans, young players and retired stars. New Diamond Cuts come with a larger swatch with a display window done in the shape of a ball diamond. Each of these have several levels of parallels. Those numbered to 25 or less come with a patch swatch.

Other memorabilia sets include Prime Patches and Milestone Relics, which have pieces of game-used baseballs from significant games. Among the Milestone Relics are pieces of balls from Masahiro Tanaka's first start and Albert Pujols' 500th home run and different World Series balls. Each Milestone Relic has a MLB Authentication sticker.

Dimensions of the Game is a new insert that uses a three-dimensional look to display autographed baseballs. Hank Aaron and Clayton Kershaw are among those in the set.

The 2015 Topps Tribute Baseball base set has 100 cards. It has veterans, rookies and past stars. Every box includes one parallel numbered to 99 or less. Colors include Green, Black, Purple (#/10), Printing Plates and Red (1/1).

Product Configuration: 6 packs per box

Continuing to focus on the simple side of collecting, 2015 Topps Opening Day Baseball reamains an appealing option for kids, budget collectors and set builders.

The base set checks in with 200 cards and that includes 75 Series Two preview cards. Parallels are not as abundant as other releases from Topps, but collectors can find Blue Opening Day, Opening Day 1/1 and Printing Plates (4 total per card, each #1/1) that mirror the main set. Both Opening Day parallels feature a foil stamp with the actual date of the MLB's Opening Day. The Blue cards were originally announced as being numbered to 2015 but they released without serial numbers.

Falling one per pack, several inserts offer set collectors more of a challenge. As the name indicates, 25 Superstar Celebrations cards show stars of the game celebrating their biggest moments. Mascots highlights 25 of the fury creatures that populate MLB stadiums. Incorporating both players and mascots, Team Spirit includes 10 cards that showcase considerable excitement.

Fans looking for exciting in-game action are in luck with Hit the Dirt. The 15-card set includes the top slides from the 2014 season. Franchise Flashback features 20 cards with players wearing throwback uniforms. Even fans can get in on the 2015 Topps Opening Day collecting fun with #toppslive Stadium Scenes inserts. This 20-card set includes images that fans posted to Instagram in 2014 while at MLB games. Lastly, Opening Day Stars includes 25 top players with a 3-D design.

Despite being geared more to pure collecting, there are still some hits to be found in 2015 Topps Opening Day. While rare, Opening Day Autographs feature 10 top players. Like previous years, Mascot Autographs return with five more options. Lastly, Opening Day Relics feature 10 cards that include game-used memorabilia.

Product Configuration: 36 packs per box, 7 cards per pack

2014-15 Fleer Showcase Hockey blends new and nostalgia. While the content focuses heavily on rookies, many of the designs and themes come from the vault. Boxes promise a numbered Hot Prospects Rookie Patch Autograph as well as two additional hits and numerous inserts.

The Hot Prospects Rookie Patch Autographs portion of the set features 60 players. Base versions come in two tiers numbered to either 175 or 375. They also have Red Glow parallels(#/18 or #/27) come with a piece of glove or strap. White Hot parallels come with a much larger patch piece and are numbered to 3.

In addition to the Rookie Patch Autographs, 2014-15 Fleer Showcase Hockey also has Hot Prospects Rookie Autographs. These don't have any memorabilia and are numbered to 149. Parallels are Red Glow (#/27) and White Hot (#/9).

Flair plays a big part in several parts. This includes a 70-card multi-tiered insert set. Row 2 cards are inserted 1:9 packs while Row 1 and Row 0 Rookies are both 1:25 packs. Blue Ice parallels are numbered to 250 while Blue Ice Masterpieces are one-of-ones. Row 2 and Row 1 cards have both jersey and patch versions as well.

The Metal Universe insert set has 42 cards including 21 rookies. Base versions are inserted 1:3 packs. As usual, though, the big chase for these are likely the Precious Metal Gems parallels: Red (#/100), Blue (#/25) and Green (#/10).

SkyBox Premium inserts are also back. Base veterans come numbered to 499 while rookies are numbered to 299. Parallels for both include Star Rubies (#/50) and Sparkling Rubies (#/5).

Reaching even deeper into the Fleer archives are a pair of tough inserts. Both Hot Gloves (1:540 packs) and Wave of the Future (1:270 packs) come with die-cut designs.

The 2014-15 Fleer Showcase Hockey base set has 100 cards.
