So when will we get it? Our battle is not against Washington, President Obama or the Democrats; its not the Republicans' fault, the liberals, or even the conservatives. If I really pay attention to the news and discern the truth from my surroundings, I must come to the same conclusion as Paul reached when he wrote to the Ephesians: 
" For we do not wrestle against flesh and blood, but against the rulers, against the authorities, against the cosmic powers over this present darkness, against the spiritual forces of evil in the heavenly places." 
The presence of Isis in Iraq and Al-Qaeda in Yemen, terrorists gaining the private addresses of our service personnel, and our own citizens fleeing their homeland in favor of desert conversion to Islam, can only be the work of the satanic realm and it's insidious commander. The overwhelming presence of evil has set itself against a worldview of Christ's Lordship, God's infinite mercy,  and His sovereignty over the world. When we begin to see this battle for the hearts and minds of our youngest citizens as spiritual, directly related to our Spiritual survival and not merely political, we will take more seriously the claims of Christ and spend more time combing the pages of His book than thumbing through the channel selector for NetFlicks.
