Discipline Records Will Soon Be Added to the Parent Portal

During the third quarter, our teachers and staff will be entering student's discipline infractions into the MMS system through the Teacher Portal. Until now, teachers would hand-write demerit slips that were given to the student, with a copy going to Mrs. Billig, Dean of Students.  The MMS system is set up that once a teacher has entered a student into the Portal for an infraction, a notification email is automatically sent to Mrs. Billig.  Mrs. Billig then completes the process by assigning the appropriate Action (consequence) following the discipline code in the Student Handbook.  The student is immediately notified that this will take place and receives a printed copy of the infraction and subsequent action(s) the following school day.

At this time, it is the responsibility of the student to notify parents of any infraction/action that they receive.  We hope to change that in the near future.  It is our goal that parents will not only have access to their student's grades, but will also have access to their student's discipline record as well.  We hope to have all of the glitches worked out of the system so that this can be available to our parents beginning in the fourth quarter.

Delonian Yearbook Needs Your Help!

No matter how enthusiastic the photographer, we can't cover every minute of every

activity.

Do you have that perfect photo from a game, a dance, or other fun activity?

Would you like to share a personal photo of one of our school activities to the Publication

class for possible inclusion in the yearbook?

Parents and students will go to www.hjeshare.com and enter their school code

squires2015.

You can also click here to use the direct link and bypass the log-in screen.
