- Attend Academic Dean's Office and departmental information sessions, as well as sessions by the Faculties of Law and Education.These sessions will help you choose your program(s). Schedules are posted on the King's website and available at the Academic Dean's Office and Enrolment Services at King's.
- Read the Academic Calendar to understand your program and course requirements.
- Gather information about your degree and program. See: Degree Check 101 and program checklists.
- Meet full-time faculty members during their office hours to discuss courses of interest and to make informed choices in selecting your program and courses for next year.

Deaf in Prison: A documentary |
Wednesday, March 25, 7pm Kenny Theatre, SLC Presented by the Prisoners' Justice Film Festival and King's University College Social Justice and Peace Studies. There will be a panel discussion immediately following the film with Dr. Joseph Michalski, Department Chair, Sociology, Dr. Cathy Chovaz, Associate Professor, Psychology, and Michael Mickelson - a former deaf inmate. Michael filed grievances with Correctional Service of Canada (CSC) for failure to accommodate his deafness for nearly a decade during his incarceration. Refreshments will be served after the event. |
