In a recent study of consumer color preferences published in HortScience, the red/bronze category selected by 34% of the participants was the winner with pink/peach a close runner up both for men and women. Yellow was the least popular color, selected by only 10%.
And in the NY Times T Magazine blog, a gender-defying trend reported a general up-tick in the popularity of pastel pink blossoms in flowers, interiors, men's fashions and weddings. So pink isn't just for gals! Men cite it as their second choice.
