Save the Date: College Art Symposium
Join us for our College Art Symposium and Juried Art Competition at UT Tyler

The Department of Art + Art History would like to invite you and your students to our annual College Art Symposium and Juried Art Competition event at the Fine Arts Complex on Friday, February 27, 2015 from 9 am – 12 pm.

This event will offer students a chance to show their art work in a juried exhibition with scholarship award opportunities. The purpose of the symposium is to acquaint college art students with our department and program offerings, meet and talk with the art faculty, and tour our facilities.

This event will showcase our studios, student work areas, seminar room, and lecture hall situated on the west side of UT Tyler’s park-like campus. Our facilities offer students the best space, tools and equipment for the study of art in this part of the country.

Students are welcome to visit the Meadows Gallery while on campus, where the 30th Annual International Exhibition will be on display. This exhibition allows viewers to see some of the best contemporary art from across the United States and other countries.
