Spring has finally arrived with the always excellent  Smithsonian Craft Show.  This is one of our top events of the year, and we look forward to it reserving special things to show for the first time.  This year, we're continuing to develop new necklace, pins and earrings that David started last year.

Fresh Prints: The Nineties to Now

A selection of prints from the past 25 years, this exhibition showcases the printmaking techniques of a variety of contemporary artists. Traditional landscape themes interest Ellsworth Kelly and Rosemarie Trockel while Lucian Freud and Chuck Close prefer figurative subjects. Abstraction also remains important, exemplified by such artists as Terry Winters, Richard Serra, and Julie Mehretu ... ..(and Steve Ford).
