THE HOSTOS CENTER FOR BRONX NONPROFITS TO PRESENT A STRATEGIC PLAN, A MONTHLY TV SHOW AND A VISION FOR THE BOROUGH'S NONPROFIT SECTOR The Office of the President, The Division of Continuing Education & Workforce Development, and The Center for Bronx Nonprofits (CBNP) of Eugenio Mar�a de Hostos Community College of The City University of New York (CUNY) will hold an official function on Thursday, March 26 at 6:00 p.m. to present The Center's Strategic Plan 2014-2017: Supporting Nonprofit Capacity in the Bronx (450 Grand Concourse, 3rd Floor). Since spring 2014, over 100 community leaders from the academic, government, private industry, and nonprofit sector provided ideas for this multi-year plan.

, a national radio network reaching more than 115 million monthly listeners through its more than 5,500 affiliates, in both the general market and Spanish language radio.

HOSTOS BUSINESS PROFESSOR LINDA RIDLEY RECEIVES CASE CENTRE WRITING SCHOLARSHIP
Hostos Community College is thrilled to announce that Linda Ridley is one of only 16 professors worldwide to receive a
CASE
Centre Writing Scholarship for 2015. Ridley, who has been teaching business courses at Hostos since 2012, is also representing just one of three U.S. universities or colleges this year.
The Case Centre is dedicated to advancing its method worldwide by sharing knowledge, wisdom and experience through "cases" to inspire and transform business education across the globe.

HOSTOS ASSOCIATE PROFESSOR MARCELLA BENCIVENNI WINS FELLOWSHIP AWARD FOR BOOK PROJECT
Hostos associate professor
Marcella Bencivenni,
who has taught history at Hostos since 2004, has been awarded a Distinguished CUNY Fellowship for the Spring 2016 semester for her book project titled
Italian Immigration, The Triangle Fire, and the Politics of Memory.
As a CUNY Distinguished Fellow, professor Bencivenni will be able to pursue her research work at the CUNY Graduate Center. She hopes to complete her new book on the Triangle Fire by the end of 2016.

SENY TAVERAS, EXECUTIVE DIRECTOR OF CUNY IN THE HEIGHTS, RECEIVES A 2015 LATINO TRENDSETTER AWARD
Seny Taveras, the Executive Director of CUNY in
the Heights, received a
LatinTRENDS
Magazine's Latino Trendsetter Award on February 2 during LatinTRENDS 13th annual award reception held at Symphony Space.
Taveras, who has worked as an adjunct professor at Hostos Community College, became the CUNY in the Heights executive director in 2014.
