Make It Happen on International Women's Day

International Women's Day is a global event that celebrates women's achievements and calls for greater equality. There will be several events honoring and recognizing women in our community this March. Here are a few that the Women's Centre will be involved in:

International Women's Day Potluck | March 5 (5:30-8pm)
Join us in celebrating strong women and sharing inspiration for change at the Kerby Centre. There will be music, activities and a short program featuring guest speaker, Brenda Crompton with the Brenda Strafford Society.

Equality for women is progress for all. Together, we can make it happen. Family-friendly International Women's Day celebrations are taking place throughout Calgary this year. Join Women's Centre volunteers at Fish Creek Library.

Join us while we visit different areas around Bridgeland-Riverside to identify exactly where women feel unsafe, and how they want to see those safety concerns addressed. This walk is open to all community members and visitors.
