Congratulations, Loveland Follies!

Under the direction of Becky Holahan, the Loveland Follies performed for the second time to rave reviews at the International Community Theatre Festival at Venice Theater.

This year, the Loveland Follies won "Outstanding Ensemble" and the award for "Outstanding Featured Actress" went to Tina Valenca at the American Association Community Theatre (AACT) WorldFest 2014. Congratulations to all for an amazing performance!

As in the past several years, Ronald Krine Myroup - Venice Theatre's playwright-in-residence - has written an original script for the Loveland Follies. The Century of Music told the story of four generations of music in an American family. Beginning at a jazz club in 1913 Paris, the script traced one family's emigration to New York City and then their eventual move to California. The show's characters included iconic music show hosts such as Ed Sullivan (with Mark Pagliaro reprising his role from last year), Dick Clark and Ryan Seacrest.

A very heartfelt thank you to Gina Cahill, Activities Coordinator and Assistant Director; Lisa Richardson, ADT Program Assistant and volunteer, and all the volunteers for their training and dedication offered to students, which helps increase their self-esteem, and their ability for self-expression. Special thanks to the Pinkerton Wealth Management Group of Wells Fargo Advisers for generously sponsoring the production.
