NEW Jefferson Park WEB-SITE DESIGN
Put your home on the home page !
Register your support for the Grant Road Neighbors Coalition !
The website looks a bit different now.  Please visit jeffersonpark.info.  The home page features JP homes, new, old, and former.  Consider adding an image of your home (e-mail  jpg to [email protected]) .

Also consider supporting your neighbors who are working with the city on the Grant Road Coalition by adding your name to the Support Form on the Home Page.   A very special thanks goes out to Mike, our long time computer guru and to grandkid, Matt,  who helped with the latest design.  Also, many thanks to the JPNA members who contribute $15 a year that helps pay for the annual subscription.

The web-site is a work in progress, adding more as neighbors give their input.

QUARTERLY MEETING
PARK AVE PROJECT
In 2007,  a Transportation Enhancement grant was written by Jefferson Park and the contiguous neighborhoods. You will soon see some significant changes on Park Ave from Speedway to Ft Lowell.  Allowances will be made for bicycle and pedestrian pathways as well as water harvesting.
Project manager, Gary Wittwer, will present the plans and projected timing for the facelift. Decomposed granite pathways, water harvesting, sidewalks etc. are among the things planned. This enhancement will provide a part of the proposed Jefferson Park Health/History Bike Walk Loop.

Come hear about what is planned  and perhaps stay after for the business meeting to hear the issues and projects being addressed by JPNA.
The Banner team will make a presentation on the proposed rezoning and the Planned Area Development (PAD) document.  There will be plenty of time and opportunity for questions. They have not yet formally submitted the rezoning application to the City of Tucson and they will not do so until after the above meeting and after they have heard neighborhood comments.

Banner also noted that due to the summer timing of the meeting, they will be planning another meeting in September for those who may be out of town for the July 20th meeting. If you can not attend the July 20th neighborhood meeting or have questions before the meeting you may contact Keri Silvyn at (520) 207-4464 or e-mail [email protected]

Another set of neighbor volunteers we have to be thankful for!

Above Right: Tree planting 2013 on Hampton. Drive by to see how they have grown in 2 short years!

Final payment made! Were you worried we had not paid for our signs yet?  Well worry no more.  The city invoice for the installation was received and paid July 13, 2015.  Jeff Park now owns them. Once again a costly improvement was shouldered by the neighborhood and through their volunteer work at fundraisers, direct donations and the "adopt a sign" program it has come to be.  A breakdown for our accounting minded neighbors- manufacture = $2953.20, city installation = $1677.20 all paid for out of our collective pockets.  What next???
