Monday Minutes Changing Publication Schedule

Starting with this issue of Monday Minutes, NESHCo's electronic newsletter will transition from a weekly to a monthly publication. Based on feedback from last year's membership survey and the challenge of creating meaningful content every week, we think it's a move that makes good sense.

We're just as committed to keeping you informed, and we believe we can cover the news we need to share by going to a monthly schedule and providing additional updates on an as-needed basis via email and the NESHCo website.

So our newsletter - renamed NESHCo News - will be monthly from here on in.

Your article submissions are still most welcome, by the way! If you have any questions or would like to submit an article, please contact NESHCo News Editor Susan McDonald at [email protected].

Goodbye to NESHCo

To our members and friends,

I'd like to take moment to let you know that as of August 31, I will be leaving my post as executive director of NESHCo after nine fantastic years to pursue other professional endeavors. As I say goodbye I want to extend my sincere gratitude to all of the members, colleagues, sponsors and friends who have helped me thrive and given valuable assistance, advice, counsel and friendship to me during my tenure. The most joyful part of my work has been meeting and developing working and personal relationships with so many of you.

As I leave I reflect upon the contributions of the very able and committed NESHCo Board of Directors who have guided NESHCo's work initiatives and significant accomplishments. To date, I have worked with more than 40 talented individuals on the NESHCo Board and I'm very proud to call them my colleagues and friends.

I look forward to remaining a member of NESHCo and taking advantage of new program initiatives and continuing to add to this wonderful society. I also look forward to continuing my relationships with many of you, albeit from a distance. Upon my departure on August 31, I will share my personal information for anyone who would like to keep in touch.

Thank you for this wonderful journey. I appreciate the opportunities to learn and grow in the healthcare communications field. I'm sure I will cross paths with many of you again...very soon.

Best wishes to all!
