Movie Description
A former frat boy and a free-spirited woman together attempt the impossible: an "old-fashioned" courtship in contemporary America.  Clay is a single adult who would prefer to remain single rather than participate in meaningless dating rituals. When he meets Amber, they aim to become the right mate rather than just a good date.  Rated: PG-13.  Watch the trailer.

Information

The Florida Conference Youth Ministries is encouraging young people to reach out to their peers to watch this film, and to use this as an outreach opportunity to dialogue with others about how to honor God in our dating relationships.  Too many movies show friends with benefits and a hook-up culture for relationships.  We want young people to see a healthy alternative way to dating.

Two Showtimes Available
We have tickets available for two preview showings, Feb. 7th and Feb. 8th.  This is an exclusive engagement at the AMC Altamonte Theater.  The film opens nationwide the following weekend.

***If you purchased tickets, but did not pick them up, look for Pedro Perez inside the AMC Theater lobby near the ticket counter.  He will hold your tickets up to 15 minutes before the showing.***

If you purchase 2 tickets for $20, we'll give you 2 additional tickets for the same showing, with no additional cost.  Purchase tickets at the link below, or pay in cash/card in person at the office.

We Ask That You Do Two Things
1)  Invite a couple/two friends you're comfortable talking with, to watch the movie with you.
2)  Commit to meeting with those you invited after the movie, to talk about the film.

After the movie, join us for at the “Old Fashioned” Movie Young Adult Mixer!  Meet filmmaker Nathan Nazario, the lead producer of “Old Fashioned” and award-winning writer Ginger Kolbaba, author of the companion book “The Old Fashioned Way,” as they openly discuss the current dating scene and its challenges, marriage, the realities of the “50 Shades of Grey” phenomenon, and connecting with God to strengthen your relationships.

Ginger Kolbaba has written for Christianity Today, is the former editor of Today’s Christian Woman magazine and has written or contributed to more than 20 books on relationships.  She has appeared on national media outlets such as CNN Headline News (Nancy Grace), Court TV, Moody Midday Connection, and Family Life radio.  She’s been quoted in national news outlets such as Newsweek and Chicago Sun-Times.   Nathan Nazario is a filmmaker and marketing strategist with over 20 years’ experience in the film and television industry, whose credits include over 50 films including six Academy-Award winners.
