The Shocking Data Proving Shale Oil Is Massively Over-hyped
David Hughes: Yeah. The actual peak before 2020 was for the two top plays, which are the Bakken and the Eagle Ford. The Bakken and Eagle Ford make up 62% of current tight oil production.
So those are really the two biggies. I also went through Permian Basin plays. But the Permian Basin is unlike the Bakken and Eagle Ford; the Permian Basin is really a very old place.
They have been around for 40 to 60 years. Other plays like the Niobrara and the Austin Chalk would fall into that category too. So these are really old plays that we have known about for a long time and they are redeveloping them with better technology. With fracking.

West Texas intermediate crude, the WTIC blend I am looking at right now at $58 and a few pennies here. Right here on the 12th of December. And the airwaves are packed with commentary.
And the print media are churning out copy to explain all of this to us. Mostly with the spin that the price plunge is due to US shale oil flooding the world markets.

Zawawi: Iraq has fulfilled its obligations to Kuwait
Well as you can read the title says that "Iraq has fulfilled its obligations to Kuwait".....but the article tells us they have filled "a large part of its obligation to Kuwait".....quite the difference in words......we all know and should remember that Iraq got Kuwait to postpone the last $4-5 billion dollars in repayments for the 1991 invasion until 2017.....that was done earlier this year....so there remain a few lose ends to be tied up.

THE RATE ROSE TO AROUND 1130 TO 1140 DINARS TO A DOLLAR!
THE DROP ON THE GRAPH WAS AROUND 6 TO 7 PM AS YOU WILL SEE! INTERESTING!
ONCE THE ZEROS ARE REMOVED FROM THE RATE WE POTENTIALLY COULD SEE A STARTING POINT FOR THE FREE FLOAT IF THAT IS THEIR INTENT.
I USE XE FOR MY CURRENCY APP.

Millionday: NOTE -- THIS IS A STATEMENT FROM THE IMF AND IS CONCERNING THE ARTICLE 6 CONSULT AND THE PROGRESS OF IRAQ MOVING FORWARD AS NEEDED
Millionday: An International Monetary Fund (IMF) mission led by Carlo Sdralevich visited Amman from March 6-15 to conduct the 2015 Article IV Consultation discussions with the Iraqi authorities.
At the conclusion of the visit, Mr. Sdralevich issued the following statement:
"The Iraqi authorities are taking proactive steps to address the double shock of the Islamic State of Iraq and Syria (ISIS) insurgency and the collapse in oil prices, which have hit the economy hard.
These efforts have led to the swift approval of a streamlined 2015 budget, based on encouraging progress towards a permanent agreement between Baghdad and the Kurdistan Regional Government (KRG) on oil exports from the north.

This "tight oil" is pouring into the global pool of oil supplies at a crucial time, preventing oil prices from spiking in an age of high demand and geopolitical turmoil.
But the world still relies overwhelmingly on conventional oil production from existing fields, many of which are in decline.
The Middle East has dominated the world of oil for half a century, and, as the list below shows, it remains king. Here are the top five most important oil fields in the world.

Charlie To the uninitiated the thought of a gas or oil well is one where a pipe goes down into the ground, and out of it flows either a steady stream of oil or natural gas,
that is fed straight into a pipeline and then delivered to them (often at what they consider to be an outrageous price) with no further treatment.
Or the crude oil that comes out runs straight over to a refinery where (with minimum effort and maximum profit) it is transformed into the gasoline or diesel fuel that they must then again buy at great cost in order to drive in to the liquor store to buy some beer.*
Charlie There are three major fluids that come out of a well, and these are gas, crude oil and water.
