Greetings!

 

The birds are chirping, the sun is shining and there is a spring in your step. You know what that means, right? Food, drinks, network, FUN! Event season is just around the corner and its going to be a biggie! Art in the Park is "Celebrating 25 years of bringing people together in Downtown Pinckney!" and our very own Smokin' Jazz is celebrating its 10th Anniversary!  Please take a minute to mark your calendars, grab a friend and make it a date to join us.

 

If you are new to the Chamber, welcome! And please give me a call if you want to know more about our civic events. I am looking forward to collaborating with you all!

Let's welcome Rosebrook Child Development Center to Brighton!

Join us in welcoming this new childcare center to Brighton.  Rosebrook, a Stockwell Child Development Center, is excited to open a second location in Brighton.  Rosebrook is committed to providing quality education and childcare in a nurturing environment.  They offer infant, toddler and preschool programs.  The center will be open from 6:30 a.m. - 6:00 p.m. Monday-Friday.  They are planning a special St. Patty's day celebration that you won't want to miss!  Light lunch will be served.

Wednesday, 3/18
Join AXIS for a fast-paced session that will explore a number of free tools that almost anyone can use to be more productive in their professional and personal lives.  Ryan Bonner from Brightline Technologies will be covering tools for gathering information, project management, and tracking both work and personal goals.  And, yes, they're all free to use!  Drinks and networking at Two Brothers Coffee Brew + Eatery will follow presentation in the GBACOC Conference Room.

Tech Talk: Blogging for Business & Pleasure 

Thursday, 3/19
Learn the power of blogging for gaining new customers!  Topics covered will include defining your purpose, getting started, reviewing why people read blogs, what successful blogs have in common and marketing your blog.  Nancy Johnson, owner of Social Eyes on Business, will instruct this informative workshop.  Social Eyes on Business is a marketing and coaching company that assists clients in engaging their ideal customers online through websites, blogs and social media strategies.  Feel free to bring a lunch!
