Spring Fever
Spring is finally bringing some warmth back to our days! As the weather improves many of us have the urge to get out and move, to shake off the last of the winter blues.

You want to be out of the house, so why not pair it up with a good cause? Make sure you have your tickets for Godspell , and come out to support our auction before the show.  If you want a preview of what the evening holds, be sure to tune into our LIVE appearance on WERS (88.9) Standing Room Only this Saturday morning, April 4th at 10:40 AM

That's not all.  We invite you to unearth your racket for our
tennis tournament , and dust off your clubs for our upcoming golf tournament . We're leaving the cold behind to get out and get moving! We hope to see you there.
Recent Events
We took the court at TD Garden
to sing the National Anthem before the Celtics game, joined by our raffle winner! It's always a pleasure to sing there, and many of us stayed to cheer at the game.

VOH sang for the Red Cross Heroes Breakfast, a beautiful morning honoring the heroes that live and work among us.

Shawsheen Valley Technical High School senior Kelly Skelton organized a moving tribute to cancer survivors in his community in order to raise awareness and funds for cancer research. VOH was honored to perform as part of the event. Despite his young age, Kelly has been supporting cancer research for many years and VOH was fortunate to once again be the recipient of Kelly's hard work and dedication with a donation of over $2,000. We have been so overwhelmed by Kelly's ongoing support that we awarded him the very first VOH Star Award.
Upcoming Events

Saturday, April 4th: WERS Standing Room Only  (tune in at 10:40 am to hear us on 88.9)

Saturday, April 25th: WBZ Jordan Rich Show

Spotlight on a Beautiful City
In Godspell there is a hopeful and heartfelt song called Beautiful City . It expresses the sincere belief that if we work together we can build the world that we wish to live in. One heart, one mind, one willing hand at a time, we can build a beautiful world where cancer is no longer a threat to our lives and the lives of our loved ones.

We're not in this alone. Last newsletter I told you about the high school students at Toms River High in NJ, who took up a collection on behalf of VOH after hearing Dana speak. Since then I've learned that one of our young members has asked that, in lieu of gifts, for her Bat Mitzvah she would like donations to be made to VOH. And, of course, we have members like Kelly Skelton, who have worked so hard on our behalf that we are humbled by it.

In Beautiful City, the lyrics say that we will build our new world "brick by brick, heart by heart." When I look around and see the generosity--not just of these young people, but of so many others--I know that these are the bricks we are using. Bricks made of love and compassion, hope and kindness. We offer ourselves up to this purpose, and together we can build a beautiful city, where cancer has a cure.

We may not reach the ending, but we can start. Slowly, but truly mending--brick by brick, heart by heart.
Many thanks to EAA for their support of VOH and Godspell!

Raise Your Voice With Ours!
Have you or a loved one been impacted by cancer? Want to sing along side us? Want to organize a fundraiser for us? Want to ask us to come sing at your fundraiser? Let us know!  We believe that each new voice brings us closer to the cure.

We appreciate your continued support as we aim to increase our fundraising goal every year. Our 2014 fundraising efforts allowed us to donate $62,000 to the Henri and Belinda Termeer Center For Targeted Therapies at Mass General Hospital. We couldn't do it without you!
