Nichelle Nichols,"Lt. Uhura" of "Star Trek" fame, suffered a stroke last week. The 82 year old actress was scheduled to appear at "Eastern Con".
She was the first Black actress to kiss a white man on national television (1966).
TIM CURRY
Tim Curry was awarded the Actors Fund Lifetime Achievement Award this past Sunday.
Three years ago the sixty-six year old actor suffered a stroke that still affects his speech and mobility.

"I want to die with my boots on"
Sir Christopher Lee died last Sunday at the age of ninety-three. He was in hospital after suffering heart and respiratory problems.
His career spanned over seventy years. He had originally trained to be an opera singer.
Kids of today remember him for his "Lord of The Rings" and "Star Wars " movies. But my generation spent many a Saturday afternoon watching him as "Dracula".
