Valuable Insights

Argo Marketing attended several trade shows in the first half of 2015 and gained valuable insights from each: At LeadsCon in Las Vegas, we learned about the power of content marketing and how the art of sales has changed.  At Response Expo in San Diego, we learned from industry experts on the current state of affairs in television media: most notably that Video on Demand is increasing in popularity.  The CNP Expo show in Orlando was teeming with statistical data that showcased how widespread fraud is and how it continues to increase.  And finally, Ad:Tech in San Francisco taught us that startups must have a hunger for success and the wherewithal to competitively compete with a larger, established brand.  We compiled the most important information collected from experts at these shows and included updated data to demonstrate where the trends are heading for the second half of 2015.

Africa Rovayo is a Customer Care Specialist at Argo Marketing Group, servicing customers in both English and Spanish.  She has been with Argo for 7 months and has demonstrated an extremely high work ethic and genuine love for customers.

 

"I love helping people," Rovayo says.  "I get joy out of helping people and in some small way making their lives happier."

What's New at Argo? 

Wacky Hair Day For Chris Garbinski!

Chris Garbinski, a renowned customer care agent at Argo, passed away unexpectedly earlier this month.  In addition to 50/50 raffles and other fundraisers to benefit his family, Argo hosted a 'Wacky Hair Day' contest to celebrate Chris and rebuild morale.  We also gave away epic prizes -- including a golden comb for first place and a golden brush for second place.  See our photos here.



Penny Wars For Charity!
Our Pittsfield location participated in a fundraising effort for Warsaw Middle School to support the Scholastic Read for the World Record contest. We created a "Penny War" and the rules were simple: each team brought in spare pennies and the team with the most pennies won. In total we were able to raise $150 for Warsaw Middle School and had a lot of competitive fun in the process!
