There is no doubt that fall is in the air here in Waynesboro!  The leaves have begun to change colors, bringing a beautiful array of foliage here in the Shenandoah Valley and the mountains that surround us.  Fall also brings a very exciting season of celebration with all the festivals and events! 
 
First Weekend in October Events

Apple Days Art Show 
Saturday, Oct 4th 9:00 am - 5:00 pm
Sunday, Oct 5th 12:00 pm - 5:00 pm 
Held under the covered sidewalks of Willow Oak Plaza, this craft show features vendors with jewelery, ornaments, quilts, art and more!  Plenty of food will be available and the Boy Scouts will be on hand on Saturday with their great Apple Dumplings while supplies last!

British Car Festival 
Saturday, Oct 4th 9:00 am - 3:00 pm 
Celebrating its 33rd year, the Shenandoah Valley British Car Club has the distinction of running one of the oldest annual British car festivals on the East Coast.  Open to British marques in any condition, around 150 cars (and occasionally some motorcycles) gather from more than 12 states beneath the massive trees of Ridgeview Park in Waynesboro, Virginia.

P. Buckley Moss Barn Show
 
October 10th - 12th  
Friday & Saturday, 11 am - 5 pm
Sunday, 11 am - 4 pm

Pat will be at her home, The Barn, to meet her collectors and personalize prints each day. You are invited to bring two previously purchased Moss prints or paintings to the Barn for personalization. In addition, all prints or paintings that are purchased at the Waynesboro gallery during these three days can be personalized.

Ribbon Cutting Ceremony

Come help celebrate the opening of the downtown gallery!  Browse the unique work of Waynesboro's own P. Buckley Moss.  A ribbon cutting ceremony will take place at 10:00 am.

Fall Foliage Art Festival

Each year, the streets of downtown Waynesboro are turned into an outdoor art gallery with 200+ booths of fine arts and fine crafts lining Main Street and Wayne Avenue in the historical downtown district. Featuring artists from all over the country, the Fall Foliage Festival Art Show has been named one of the top shows in the East. Paintings of all kinds, pottery, jewelry, sculpture, and more are featured in this two day outdoor festival.

Fall Foliage Festival 5k & 10k Race

Historic neighborhoods will welcome you....crisp fall temps will greet you.... warm apple cider will delight you - what a great way to spend a Saturday in the heart of the Shenandoah Valley. Held in conjunction with the Virginia Fall Foliage Festival Art Show.

Downtown Trick or Treat Trail

October 31st

3:00 pm - 6:00 pm

Look for the ghost-n-pumpkin in the window of participating businesses- must wear a costume to trick or treat.  Prizes awarded for age groups- scariest, most original & theme group contest!  The costume parade and contest will be from 4:00-5:00 for pre-school and elementary.

Blue Ridge 10 Miler

Coyners Springs Park

Tucked away on the outskirts of Waynesboro in the Shenandoah Valley exists some great country roads that make for a beautiful race course!  Corkscrew Racing and Waynesboro Department of Tourism are partnering to bring you the Blue Ridge 10 Miler this fall!  Although Waynesboro and the surrounding areas are rich in history, it is also becoming quite the running hub. Several races are held throughout the year but this is the first 10 Miler to be had.
