Midwest Tax has moved!  You can now visit Michael Wahl at 3 S. Main for all your tax and accounting needs.

Tomorrow at 11am on the Coleman Theatre Stage we will be celebrating Ottawa County becoming the first county in Oklahoma designated as a "Work Ready Community".  Please plan to attend and show your support for this great accomplishment.

Leadership Miami Class XIX is coming to an end.  It is hard to believe next year will mark 20 years of this program.  Please make your reservation today for the Graduation this Friday, June 26.  I am excited to have Rob O'Brien, president and CEO of the Joplin Regional Chamber of Commerce, as our guest speaker.

Mike Sexton is retiring?  Say it sin't so!!!  We may all be in disbelief, but First National Bank is hosting a retirement reception for their long-time employee.  Please stop by the main bank at 2 N. Main from 1 to 3:30pm this Friday to wish Mike a happy retirement.

4th of July Celebration is coming quickly.  We will again have free games and hot dogs, concessions will be available, and the best fireworks display in the four-state area by Scott Garber. This year we are excited to also have a concert by the Jake Simpson Band.  This local young man from Wyandotte is making a name for himself in Nashville, and we are so excited to have him playing for us locally.  You don't want to miss this talented young man, so come early and get a great seat on the lawn.

Have a great week!

Michele
