On October 19, 2013 Josh Everett, TrainHeroic,
and the CrossFit community rallied together in spectacular fashion to support the Autism community in a worldwide workout event called LiftUpLuke.
This "competition for a cause" specifically sought to support early diagnosis and treatment of Autism, raise funds for the Autism Tree Project Foundation in San Diego, and most importantly, turn a global spotlight on the measured and severe impact of Autism on families and individuals around the world.
This year, we're upping the ante and doubling down our efforts to take the impact of the event to another level...and WE WANT YOUR STORY! Please share your reason why YOU are LIFTING UP AUTISM this September by sharing a short video of your story on the link HERE -- every story and every child matters and we want yours!
For more information, to sign up, get inspired, visit www.liftupautism.com

ADDIE'S AUTISMFITT CLUB KID CORNER:
ATPF AutismFITT Club Scholarship Teen Devyn
Devyn is 15 years old and has autism. She came to Addie's AutismFITT Club with her mom Mia and grandmother a couple years ago. Devyn and her family drive 30 miles to come to exercise at Addie's Pacific Beach location 1-2 times a week. Since she came to us, her Mother has passed away.
"We love having Devyn as one of our kiddos since she doesn't have any outlets to work out or exercise at all at home."
The top 3 things that Devyn loves about working out one-on-one with a personal trainer is:
-Her interaction with people
-She feels stronger
-Exercise makes her feel positive
Save the date now for the 13th Annual Remodel Your Body for ATPF
on Saturday, September 26 so that we can keep supporting kids like Devyn!
