Currituck Recognized Nationally
Currituck County is in the news yet again for Excellence in Local Government.  This time, they are being recognized for their efforts with the Currituck Goes Green initiative.  Cooperative Extension played a large role in this effort and is proud to be associated with our outstanding local partners.
Program Highlights
Master Gardener
 of the Year

Each year, Extension Master Gardeners work tirelessly to support local Extension programs. Recently, Extension had an opportunity to recognize those efforts and designate Master Gardener of the Year. Thanks and congratulations to all our volunteers!
 Health Assessment

Cooperative Extension in Currituck is one of the many partners that will be assisting Albemarle Regional Health Services in conducting the 2016 Health Assessment. The first listening session of this effort will be held on February 6 on Knotts Island.

Leaders
Needed

Cooperative Extension's 4-H program empowers young people to develop the skills they need to succeed in life. Volunteer leaders are a vital part of those experiences and opportunities. Currituck County 4-H is currently seeking volunteers to assist with a number of programs.
