Happy Holidays!

 

We, at Workout 32789, know this is your busiest time of the year. Temptation screams your name from every dinner table, pie plate, and drink tray you run into at home, at the office, or out on the town. 

 

Instead of stressing, look at all we have accomplished together and take this opportunity to move into 2015 with renewed resolutions and to maintain a healthy and positive lifestyle with your family, friends, and your Workout 32789 support staff.

This will be the last set of classes of 2014, so make sure you get your butt moving before it's to late!


 When you sign up, you may attend either of the two classes each week. So if you were to sign up for 6 classes during the remaining 3 weeks, you can use those sessions for the Wednesday or Friday class.

 

The prices for this session are:

Power Performer 
of the Month:
John Glick
John has been absolutely killing it since arriving at Workout 32789! He puts everything he's got into each one of his workouts. He's always ready to work hard and ready to push himself in order to improve. Whether it's his personal training sessions or the Saturday HIIT classes, John shows up every time with a coffee in his hand, a great attitude, 
and a killer work ethic.

What's the biggest change you have noticed physically or mentally since you started training at Workout 32789? 

My injured knee is doing much better, and my body is getting great results in terms of body fat ratio.

 

What's your favorite part of working out? 

Making Frank think that the weights are too heavy ; ) !

When did you realize it was time to make a change in your life? 

When I started at Workout 32789, I knew I needed change in my workout routine.  I had been doing the same workout for 6 years and the results were diminishing.  I needed a fresh approach. Frank has been fantastic at pushing me.

What did you hope to accomplish since you started training at Workout 32789? 

I wanted to keep up with my girlfriend! Seriously, she was working out with Frank and had fantastic results.  I was hoping that I could get my cardio back after a layoff from a knee injury.

Brain Training 
Book Club
THIS WEDNESDAY!

Workout 32789 will be starting a new group activity this month to help spark some discussions on healthy living, mentally and physically. Our "Brain Training" Book Club is open to anyone in our workout family who wants to come and discuss our "book of the month".


 

This is a great way to share our feelings about the chosen topic and to see different points of view from your peers. We will be meeting Wednesday, December 3rd at 

 11:30 am to discuss a book that we feel would be beneficial to all, "The Energy Bus".

 

If you would like to participate, grab yourself a copy of "The Energy Bus" and read it before we meet in December. Feel free to bring a lunch or a beverage to the event but neither are required.

Come Pick From 
Our Garden!!
Our community garden is ready to be picked! The red and green romaine are growing out of control!! We have been making great salads and sandwiches with them and we want to share the wealth.

Please feel free to ask one of the Workout team members to open the gate for you to pick some today!


Recipe of the Month
Yuletide Mimosa


We wanted to mix up this month's recipe with a special Holiday drink for any of your special events in December. Have this drink at your next Holiday party, brunch with friends and family, or just as an excuse to get in the spirit!



Ingredients:

1 oz Orange Vodka

2 oz Blood Orange Juice

4 oz Santa Margherita Prosecco


Mix first 2 ingredients. Strain into flute glass, and top with Santa Margherita Prosecco. Garnish with blood orange wheel.
