HETS seeks to highlight and celebrate the outstanding work of its member institutions in meaningfully and strategically using technology to achieve Hispanic student success. Taking place in January 15- February, 6 2015, the 2015 Virtual HETS Best Practices Showcase will focus on three main tracks: Retention and Assessment efforts in Distance Learning, Pedagogy strategies for online courses, and Mobile Technologies. This event will be a combination of live and asynchronous online presentations with forums to extend the discussion among presenters and audience beyond the scheduled dates.
In January 15, 2015 the Virtual Best Practices Showcase will open with a panel of expert on the conference main tracks. This opening session will be transmitted live through webcast. In the Schedule, section of the event page, you will find the complete schedule of presentations and its titles. We invite you to register online and take advantage of this event free of charge for HETS members (you must register with an institutional email address).
