It's been a VERY eventful year! With your love and support we have been able to accomplish so much in just a few months. 
          
Can you believe we're getting ready to wrap up 2014?
Here is a little recap... BEyond FITness was born on March 17th, and began providing affordable fitness classes in the community before opening its' doors at our beautiful current facility on July 1st. We want to take this time and thank all who donated. Huge Kudos to everyone who donated to our clothing drive for the homeless, the response was overwhelming. Our BEFIT kids program has made a big impact in the community, providing classes to over 7 schools in the Greater New Haven area. Our Zumba� Kids & Zumba� Kids Jr. classes are very popular at the studio; where we continue to provide Free classes getting families working out together, and helping kids to combat childhood obesity by getting them active in a fun, loving environment where THEY are the stars. YOUR donations made this possible. Speaking of your donations, they also help us provide Free classes for adults with our Appreciation Tuesday program. With all these programs, we had a pretty full plate, yet we were still able to continue our ongoing partnership with various community leaders at multiple events throughout the year. We'd like to thank Get Healthy CT, Guns Down Books Up, West Haven Community Center, Sisters Sharing, Ice the Beef, J-HOP and Junta- Big Turtle Village (just to name a few). We look forward to what the future will bring with these wonderful caring individuals/organizations. There are no words to describe how grateful we are for the support we received when we collaborated with Moving Forward Fitness to form Moving BEyond...Bullying, which raised awareness as we joined the National Anti-bullying movement to STOP BULLYING in all its' forms. We were also honored to be part of the Girls Empowerment Workshop, helping young girls develop tools to build self-esteem and a positive body image. In an effort to give you a little extra motivation to continue with your fitness goals during the most difficult time for weight-loss, we came up with our first weight-loss challenge: The Wellness Warrior. The heat was on and you rose to the challenge! Our very first Wellness Warrior Challenge just ended and we crowned BEFIT's first Elite Warrior! We can't mention the Wellness Warrior without mentioning Body Blaster. To help you tighten and tone those trouble areas and avoid that dreaded plateau, aside from our wonderful Zumba�  classes, our Body Blaster program was designed ;) Speaking of all these classes, we'd be crazy not to thank our Amazing BEFIT Team! They embody the spirit we promote at BEFIT and have stepped up to make BEyond FITness a place where you come not only to work out, but to release and forget your worries, if only just for an hour. Last, but certainly not least, We need to Thank YOU!!! Our students, everything would be pointless without YOU! You contribute to the loving spirit at BEyond FITness and we love watching your smiling faces as you master that new step, or finally do the perfect burpee ;) You've shown us and yourselves that you're capable of mastering any challenge <3 We hope everyone feels the welcoming vibe when they enter our studio

Our BEFIT kids Program offers FREE Sessions of Zumba� Kids & Zumba� Kids Jr. with our team of licensed Zumba� Kids & Zumba� Kids Jr. Instructors. They are ready to party with your precious little ones to age-appropriate music and moves. The program is geared for children ages 4-11 years old. Parents/guardians may also join the fun.
