We read, we talk, we ponder, we dream...we hope to see progress...and every time we think we see motion in a positive direction, either it is debunked by something new, proven false, or seemingly un-confirmed!
Case in point most recently... Baghdad sends $420 million dollars to Kurds...490 billion dinars...4-5 days later, $250 million dollars is stated...and implied, not even there yet...
For some strange reason, it appears one hand doesn't know what the other is saying or doing...or on purpose, they choose to placate their people, and attempt to misguide the rest of the world...

Frankly JC, I struggle with the notion that the military industrial complex is going to mothball itself, surrender and go home. That's way too neat and tidy and, I would suggest, a fundamental misread of the tendency for military superiority not to disband, but to devise a way of 'falling off the shelf' in a hurry.
Suddenly we see the charade of defensivenesse/deterrence that was the rhetoric used to get so big in the first place. The petrodollar bankrolls the military indstrial complex. We'rein the ues it or lose it phase of American military prowess.

Proposed Consolidation Positive For Banking Sector
VietNamNet Bridge - Viet Nam's central bank's plans to consolidate the country's banking system, and introduce new rules involving ownership structure under Circular 36 are likely to benefit the sector, said Fitch Ratings
However, the agency noted, that the implementation of the rules might prove to be a challenge, while long-term structural problems, such as weak asset quality and low capital buffers, remain.
Consolidation is likely to improve efficiency through better economies of scale, and reduce supervisory burden.

There is quite a bit of news articles out and about already today....but it amazes me that the base of the news for today is regurgitated stuff, things that we have known about for several days or more....albeit....there are a few good morsels mixed in as well....and it's now time to dive into things and see what our news room is bringing us.
Abadi China calls to help fund the reconstruction of the liberated areas
Iraq is looking to China as another source that may lend help in reconstructive efforts after DAASH is ousted from many areas of Iraq....PM Abadi says that most of Iraq's provinces are safe at this time and they need money being infused into their reconstructive efforts to put lives and business back together after being disrupted and destroyed by DAASH terrorists.

Bruce MARCH 22, 2015 AT 9:47 PM JC, While I very much enjoy reading your posts and am consistently informed by them, I'm now hoping (against hope?) that you are wrong about coming developments in the world.
It's clear to me that "America" has been used as a cat's-paw by the globalist enterprise, and will relatively soon be consigned to the ash heap of history, with all that entails.
However, your apparent confidence that the ongoing social engineering (CSI) and readjustment of the structures of hierarchical power will lead to an, at least momentary, reduction in corruption and consequent improvement in the lives of most humans, is something I don't find plausible.
In my opinion, humanity is approaching a crossroads. We will either individually wake up to our personal sovereignty and do what is necessary to reorganize ourselves on principles of freedom and the non-aggression principle, or we will go into the Technocratic dystopia that Cultural and Socioeconomic Interception represents.
CSI is not our friend. We're either on the verge of awakening to our true nature, or we're going to a place where the elite consensus will suppress that with technology, possibly for a long, long time.

Update: The recent announcement by the Obama administration in regards to the AIIB does not mean America is suddenly joining that institution.
It would still require congressional approval, and considering the US Congress has refused to pass the 2010 IMF Reforms, which the Obama administration also supports, strongly suggests that any AIIB membership will also be refused.
The Obama administration, as represented by US Treasury Secretary Jack Lew, last week called on congress again to pass the IMF reform package as America was losing influence in the world.
This reluctance by Congress is what was implied in the post below about America not being admitted into the AIIB, no matter what Obama wants.
