Celebrating good work!
Cindy Bostick, Mentor Coordinator at Communities In Schools Pittsburgh Allegheny County (CISPAC), was honored with the Education Champion award at the Sheraton Pittsburgh Hotel at Station Square's first annual Celebration of Champions event on Thursday, June 18. Bostick has been a Mentor Coordinator for the Be A Middle School Mentor (BAMSM) program for the past 6 years and has been working with CISPAC for 23 years total.
BAMSM is a program CISPAC facilitates at 4 Northside schools through partnership with the United Way of Allegheny County. Bostick has spent an astounding 40 year career serving the community and at-risk youth. Her dedication and enthusiasm are second to none and we congratulate her on this honor!
Celebration of Champions was designed to honor and recognize Pittsburghers who exemplify remarkable leadership, inspiring community achievement and extraordinary entrepreneurial spirit. To award her accomplishment, the hotel donated $1,000 to CISPAC in Bostick's honor.
